This is our most popular service at the clinic. Massage Therapy improves physical and emotional health and is one of the best antidotes for stress. This hands-on manipulation of the body’s soft tissues and joints physically stretches muscles, ligaments and tendons, improving circulation and range of motion. Depending on the style, it can be sedating or stimulating. The therapeutic use of massage effects all the systems of the body – in particular, the muscular, circulatory, lymphatic, immune and nervous systems.

The benefits are many: tight, tense muscles relax, circulation improves and overall stress can be reduced. When our stress levels go down, our energy increases, our outlook on life improves, and this boosts the immune system.

Massage Therapy also speeds recovery from physical activity like running, or from over use such as strains from a weekend of gardening or waterskiing. Regular Massage therapy can help the body develop, maintain or augment physical activity. If you have never had a massage ask a registered massage therapist to recommend the types of massage that would be best for you.
